• Appearance •

The Angler takes the cake for largest enemy in the game, about the size of a small house. The Angler's appearance is very similar to both a chameleon and an actual angler fish, the most notable difference being his large claws attached to his skinny arms. A gigantic, blinding blue light hangs from the Angler's head like an antenna, sort of like the one an angler fish uses to lure in prey. The Angler's Mimics copy the appearance of the player furthest from the group. You never know who to trust.

• Behavior •

The Angler is a stationary entity who will create copies of players. The players it copies depends on who is furthest from the group, and the mimic will look exactly like them. These mimics will not talk, and will taunt the player from afar. Attempting to get close to these mimics will cause them to run away in the direction of the Angler, presumably hidden around the map. Getting too close to the Angler will cause it to suck in players similar to Barnacle Ball’s tornado ability, and will eat them dealing all of their health in damage.

• Counters •

Travel with all players in your party, try not to lose anyone, ignore every "player" in the distance. If a mimic goes the same way you are, go the opposite way. Shock-stick works on mimics, not the Angler, however using the Shock-stick on mimics is a waste as they are not harmful.

• Trivia •

  • Angler was most likely scrapped in favor of Infiltrator
