MetaCoins are an alternative currency. They are used for permanent purchases that remain upon reset and are accessible across saves as they are tied to the player. many upgrades can be purchased on the island for MetaCoins, including a Swimming Pool, A trampoline, A Green Screen, A Podcast Booth, and A Cinema. Every view quota completed gives +50 MetaCoins, Quota one gives 50, quota two gives 100, and so on, there are also Sponsorships available only after completing the first quota, each sponsorship gives a varying number of MetaCoins based on the difficulty. Players can also purchase cosmetic hats at Phil's Hats, these hats provide a content value.
