Island Upgrades

Island Upgrades are a form of meta progression tied to a Player's account rather than the particular save file. Purchasable through different values of MetaCoins, each upgrade adds something to the island, and your future videos. It should be noted that adding them to the island will slightly damage the player who purchases them, but in a way that is significant, and the health will recover the next day.

• Trampoline •

Trampoline.jpeg
Placed directly in front of the house for 900 MC, the trampoline is a fun recreational item. Once on the trampoline, the top will begin to bounce up and down. If a Player times their jump with the bounce, they will jump higher and faster than their previous jump, and depending on how high they land, the speed and intensity of the bounce is altered. At a certain speed, however, the Player will "lose control" and ragdoll mid-air, and stay ragdolled until they leave the trampoline zone. If a ragdolled player lands on the trampoline, they will automatically bounce off as if they timed their jump correctly.

The podcast booth is a small boxy room, placed near Phil's Hats for 1200 MC. Inside are two chairs where players can converse via provided microphones. It has no other functionality than to make "podcasts."

• Pool •

Behind the house for 1500 MC, the pool is a large concrete plot with a water slide, four sun chairs for players to sit in shaded by two umbrellas, a hot tub, and of course a pool, complete with an inflatable ring and a beach ball. The water provides little resistance to move through, although the physics look more like sludge than liquid. The pool inflatable is just large enough for a Player to fit in. The water slide is friction-less, and entering the slide will cause ragdolling, allowing a smooth splash into the water below.

• Cinema •

Near the healing shed in the back for 600 MC, the Cinema consists of four wooden chairs surrounding a large screen. The screen functions exactly the same as the TV, just at a larger scale, providing an alternative way to watch finished videos.

• Green Screen •

Across from the bridge over to Phil's Hats for 300 MC, the Green Screen consists of two parts, the screen itself, and a "projector" that can change the image on the screen. The images range from common news backdrops, to city skylines, to weird and occult illustrations. All 80 images will be provided in the gallery below in no particular order.

Trivia

  • The Green Screen is the only Island Upgrade to have been in the game prior to the May 2nd Update.
  • There's an unused 6th Island Upgrade called the RaceTrack, complete with a Go-Kart. It cannot be seen without the use of third-party tools.
